Bio

Christina Gandolfo creates colorful, narrative-driven imagery of people and animals. Her earliest photographs were of family cats and dogs in custom wardrobe, long before pets ruled the internet.

Prior becoming a professional photographer she was a newspaper beat reporter, magazine writer and editor, and sports journalist who covered endurance sports on 5 continents.

She loves small gestures that make a big difference, finding scrappy solutions to problems big and small, and parallel parking.  Engaging with creative minds, hiking among big trees, and supporting other creative women are among her other favorite things to do. She is a founding member of TheLuupe which connects brands with women photographers and content creators.

Her work has been highlighted in PDN, A PhotoEditor, American Photography, Luerzer’s Archive and The Huffington Post as well as numerous magazines and print publications.

Based in Los Angeles, she shoots up and down the great state of California + beyond.
